Cultural Heritage goes digital: GLAM institutions at the digital turn. From object providers to research partners by Dr Angela Dressen
Angela Dressen is Andrew W Mellon Librarian at I Tatti, The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies. She teaches Art History and Digital Art History at German and Austrian universities and is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Dresden, and has been Discipline Representative for Digital Humanities at the Renaissance Society of America for seven years. Her last monograph on “The Intellectual Education of the Italian Renaissance Artist” came out with Cambridge University Press in 2021. She is currently working on a collected essay volume on “Cultural Heritage Data for Research: Opening Museum Collections, Project Data and Digital Images for Research, Query and Discovery” (OLHJ 2024).
